WHAT INFORMATION DOES THE SITE COLLECT?
Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you provide when you interact with us (for example, when you submit your case or potential case for consideration to appear on the Program, sign up to receive our communications, participate in a promotion, or otherwise communicate with us. Such information may include contact information (such as your name, mailing address, and e-mail address), and other information, such as demographic information (for example, your gender and birth date), information about your occupation and background.
When you submit a case or potential case, we also collect information about the person (or persons) you are complaining against (for example, their name and contact information) and a summary of the dispute, including basic underlying facts and information about any related legal proceedings.
User Content Submissions
Your submission of User Content is subject to the Submission Terms for the Site.
Information We Collect Automatically as You Access and Use the Site
We and our third party business partners (including third party analytics, advertising and other business providers) may use a variety of technologies, including cookies and web beacons, that automatically or passively collect information whenever you access or interact with the Site (“Usage Information”). Usage Information may include the hardware model, browser, and operating system you are using, the URL or advertisement that referred you to the Site, the search terms you entered into a search engine that led you to the Site, and all areas of the Site that you visit your time zone, location information, and mobile network (if applicable), among other information. We may use Usage Information for a variety of purposes, including enhancing or otherwise improving the Site. In addition, we may automatically collect your IP address or other unique identifier (“Device Identifier”) for any computer, mobile phone, or other device you may use to access the Site. A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your device used to access the Site.
The methods used to collect Usage Information may include the following:
- Cookies and Log Files. “Cookies” and log files are pieces of information (data files) placed on a device when it is used to visit the Site or otherwise access our online content. Cookies may be used for many purposes by us and our third party service providers, such as automatically collecting Usage Information, enabling features, and remembering your preferences. Certain browsers or browser add-ons may provide additional local data storage mechanisms that are used in a manner similar to cookies, and some of the content included on our Site may make use of this local storage. - Web Beacons. Small graphic images or other web programming code called web beacons (also known as “pixels” or “1×1 GIFs” or “clear GIFs”) may be included in our web pages and email messages. Web beacons may be invisible to you, but any electronic image or other web programming code inserted into a web page or email can act as a web beacon. Web beacons or similar technologies may be used for a number of purposes, including, without limitation, to count visitors to the Site, to monitor how users navigate the Site, to count how many emails that were sent were actually opened or to count how many particular links were actually viewed.
- Embedded Scripts. An embedded script is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Site, such as the links you click on. The code is temporarily downloaded onto your device from our web server or a third party service provider, is active only while you are connected to the Site, and is deactivated or deleted thereafter.
In addition, we may use a variety of other technologies that collect similar information for security, fraud detection, site functionality and operational purposes.
Information We Collect from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third parties, for example, if someone submits a case that involves you, or if we supplement the information we collect with information from others (such as public databases, including those containing records about court and other legal proceedings, and publicly available social media pages).
Social Media Features
The Site may permit you to interact with a third party platform (such as Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter)and the Site, for example “liking” or “sharing” content from the Site, posting your social media posts to the Site, including a hashtag associated with us in your social media post, or creating an account or registering with the Site using existing login information from a third-party platform (“Social Media Features”). Also, both we and the third party may have access to certain information about you and your use of the Site and the third party service. These third party platforms may collect information about your visit to our Site through the Social Media Features we have integrated into the Site. Note that through the Social Media Features, these third party platforms may be able to collect certain information about your visits to the Site regardless of whether or not you affirmatively interact with the Social Media Features and whether or not you are logged into (or have) an account with the third party platform.
If you use Social Media Features, your interaction and personal information may be publicly disclosed on the Site and on the third party platform. If others give us access to their profile, page, or other content on a third party platform, we may also receive information about you if it is accessible through that content.
HOW DOES THE SITE USE THE INFORMATION IT COLLECTS?
We may use information we collect, including personal information and Usage Information, to:
- enable you to use the Site or other features we offer, such as processing information you provide to us, including verifying your email address is active and valid
- communicate with you, such as responding to your questions, complaints, or comments and getting your feedback, and send you information about us, the Site, and the Program;
- for internal business purposes, such as improving the Site and the Program, and to comply with legal requirements

We use third party service providers to provide services to us or on our or your behalf, such as sending postal mail and e-mail and conducting background checks. Business and Legal Purposes
To the extent permitted by law, we may transfer and disclose your personal information to third parties to comply with a legal obligation; at the request of government authorities or law enforcement conducting an investigation or to cooperate on an investigation on public safety or into claims of intellectual property infringement; pursuant to a subpoena or other legal request or process; to protect the integrity of the Site, enforce or protect our terms or the rights, property, safety, security of us or any individual; for fraud prevention; in the event of an emergency; or to otherwise protect the health and safety of our users or the general public.
Business Transfers and Transitions, Third Parties Involved in Production, and Parent and Affiliated Companies
We may, in evaluating or engaging in a sale of assets, bankruptcy, merger, or other transaction (including, without limitation, during the course of any due diligence process), transfer or assign your personal information, which you agree that we may do without your further consent. We may share personal information as needed to facilitate production and distribution of the Program, including with third parties we work with the cast the Program, production companies, networks, and related parties, all in connection with the Program We may also share your personal information with any parent company, subsidiaries and/or affiliates of ours for business and operational purposes. By providing your personal information, you agree that we may transfer such information as described in this paragraph.
At Your Request
We may share information when you direct us to do so. For example, you may be presented with an opportunity to receive marketing offers from a third party or you may engage with a third party application or feature, through which information about you is shared. Please note that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. If you later decide that you no longer want to receive communications from a third party, you will need to contact that third party directly.
WHAT ABOUT ONLINE ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING PROVIDERS AND SIMILAR THIRD PARTIES?
We may work with third parties (such as service providers, analytics companies, network advertisers, ad agencies, and others) who provide us with information about the Site, users, and our advertisements, and who serve our advertisements on our Site and elsewhere online. We and our third party business partners may collect certain information about your visits to and activity on our Site and other websites and services and may use this information to target advertising to you and others and to assess the effectiveness of our advertising. We may also share (or permit third parties to collect) certain information, such as Usage Information, aggregated or de-identified or hashed information, with these third parties for similar purposes. These third parties may set and access their own tracking technologies on your device (including cookies and web beacons) and may otherwise collect or have access to your personal information over time, including your visits to and activity on the Site as well as other websites and online services.

HOW DOES THE SITE RESPOND TO “DO NOT TRACK” SIGNALS?
Some Internet browsers may be configured to send “Do Not Track” signals to the online services that you visit. There is no consensus among industry participants as to what “Do Not Track” means in this context. Like many websites and online services, our Site does not alter its practices when it receives a “Do Not Track” signal from a visitor’s browser, except as required by applicable law. You must let us know if you believe any personal information nor other material information you have provided to us is inaccurate. Note, however, that we may retain information that you have updated or changed in backup systems or for internal or administrative purposes and for other reasons to the extent allowed by applicable law, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our Submission Terms.
WHAT ARE YOUR CHOICES?
You may opt out of marketing or other commercial g emails by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link or other opt-out mechanism included emails you receive from us.Note that we reserve the right to send you certain email or postal communications relating to your use of the Site, your case submission, announcements, notices of changes to our policies, or similar messages, and these administrative or transactional messages may be unaffected if you choose to opt-out from marketing communications.
HOW DO WE HANDLE SECURITY?
We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect against loss, misuse and alteration of your personal information under our control. However, no system can be 100% secure. While we strive to safeguard your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you disclose or transmit to us, or that we transmit to you, or guarantee that it will be free from unauthorized access by third parties. You use the Site and provide us with information at your own initiative and risk.
